ok...is this why people get missing link -

i shift from 1st to 2nd gear and if i try to floor it at a low RPM my boost goes way up, my RPMS slowly go up and then it bogs...it feels like my throttle body is closing and i am flooding my engine....just a guess....but is that why people get missing link...for that reason? or is my situation different? thanks

 

it would help if you said what you were using for fuel management. if you have an fmu, you suck, and yes, you need a missing link. if you have the afc hack, you still suck, but don't need a missing link. if you have a chipped ecu or stand alone, you don't need ---- except for half a brain to tune it, which it sounds like you don't have or else your car wouldn't be 'sputtering'
