Need Turbo Info.....Identification help...(56k beware)
I just picked up this turbo on the 4 sale section, and it was listed as a T-25. Well guess what, its not , np though.
I need help identifying it though. What car is it from?
I am sure it is a T-3 (square exhaust intake) w/.48 trim. But I am unsure how to go about building a downpipe for it.
Is the bolt patern typical for a T-3? and where can I get a flange? From the looks of it the o2 housing cant be used as the cross/engine mount is in the way (see pic).
I am also reluctant to weild to the cast Iron...my weilding skills suck. So here are my pics
The turbo, going on my ZC
how I identified the T-3, the square inlet, has to be port matched to the gasket/manifold
The o2 housing, see how it points off to the left, thats the headache....
The exhaust end w/wastegate 5 bolt set up, all the flanges I have seen block off this wastegate :P also I am unsure about this bolt pattern

Red Xs...but you keep saying it has a square inlet for the exhaust...T3s are rectangular. Without working pics, can't tell if that's what you mean. But if you need a flange, just look on eBay...they're always on there.
Sucks when turbos are misidentified, eh? I bought one awhile ago that was listed as a T3, and it turned out to be an IHI! That sucked.
