Default need some input on an external oiling system

the engine i'm gonna be turboing soon doesn't have a pressurized oiling system, so i'm leaning twards something externa for the turbo. i'm just kinda brainstorming it right now, but i know that i'm gonna need some kind of oil tank, lines, and a pump. i think i'm going to go up to menards and home depot to try and find some things that will work, but i wanna get some opinions and input on how i should go about doin this. anyone tried it before or have any ideas?

Why not water? Like water jackets around the center section? Just a thought.

the point of the oil is to cool AND lubricate

He said external so it can't lubricate so why not cool it with something simpler like water. Just a thought.

What the ---- are you talking about? His oil system is non pressurized so it can't push oil through the turbo. So he wants to add an external pump.

Could you just pump from Oil Pan --> Turbo --> Oil cooler --> return back to pan

Just a prelim thought.

that would work....if it had an oil pan....it's gonna be going on a go-cart.
i think i got it though. it's a completely self sustained oiling system separate from the motor. just some kind of oil can that holds the oil, a feed and drain line, and a pump. for the pump i've got this pump that you connect to a drill. this means that it won't have to be ran off of the motor at all, and we just have to recharge the drill every once in awhile. everything else for project go-cart is figured out, so i'm sure there will be pics in the next couple weeks. and just to let you know, it's going to be on a turbo'd circle track cart that already does 70mph NA.

it shouldn't get that hot. the only think it's going to do is go through the turbo, and flow back into the tank

what if you got a windshield water bottle and filled it with oil. run it to the turbo and have it drain back into the bottle?? the only problem is you need 12 volts. i guess you could get a car battery and keep it on a charger...
