Default need more grip...but how?

ok heres the deal i have 99 civic si turbo charged, after i got new intercooler and ic piping and test pipe the car is insanly fast, my car comes with 15 inch tires and on first gears the tires just spin, even with me and my friend in the car (430 lbs.) the cars front tires just cant grip, they are kumho supra whatever tires, is there anyway to get more grip besides buying new wheels and tires? maybe different motor mounts or suspension parts anyone can recomend? if not does anyone know a website with good wheel + tire packages?

if you want straight line, go with drag radials
just don't whine about tire life

oh, you could put wheelie bars on the back and set them up to put pressure on the front wheels

maybe you have to much pressure on your tires try deflating them a bit? or maybe your car is too slammed and your camber is fucked up and your tires only grip from one corner...

that would pose serious traction problems...

first u have to tell us what kind of suspension you are running my friend.. u better at least have some springs on there and if not get some fast, they will be the cheapest large suspension and traction mod you can buy. also ur rims arent going to make a difference... just the tires get some street slicks or dont bother upgrading tires.. but with any kind of slick and springs alone its almost impossible to spin even in racing situations unless ur a horrible driver

If you really want traction buy a QUAIFE LSD.

I've read good things about the phantom grip, it only runs like $300 something, which is much cheaper than a quaife...they USED to run like a grand...i run falken azenis, they're sorta drag radial and H rated...

Yeah an LSD would probably help, but i still think you'll have traction problems. Time to just skip first gear and jump right to second. lol
