Re:"Need information on putting a turbo in my D16 ex please"
Well, for ANY amount of boost you need fuel management. For anything under around 6 psi I would say buy an FMU(rising rate fuel pressure regulator). If you plan on boosting to 10psi like you said, you are going to need something better. Depending on what year Civic you have, you have several options. S-AFC/V-AFC, TurboEdit, Zdyne, Hondata, Uberdata, EMS....the list goes on. What is your price range? My suggestion would be the AFC with 450cc injectors, but I know a lot of people are using TurboEdit with great results. If you know how to burn chips and understand that sort of thing, TurboEdit would be the thing to have. If you are a caveman like me and like things to be simple, the AFC "hack" would be the ideal setup.

maybe get a btm too so you can retard timing a little line 1/2 degree per pound of boost so you don't have to sacrifice on the lower rpms by retarding the dizzy.
nothing wrong w/ 10psi daily driven as long as it's tuned and not some massive turbo. i've been boosted for over 12k miles and 4k of that at 10-11psi.

I'd hate to say it, and don't take this the wrong way, but from the sounds of it you really need to do some more research on this. The AFC is one of the most common forms of fuel management. Look around the "Engine Management" forum. Here is an AFC http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2440310867
It works along with the 450cc injectors to supply more fuel. This is what is known as "The hack". It's a lot to explain in one paragraph. Research is key.

Your telling me that you've been doing research since last spring and you didn't know you need fuel management? I don't think you did any research and you just want to be spoon fed the answers. Just look in the engine management and you get an idea of what you need in 5 minutes. I know that your only trying to learn but at least do some research.

Re:"Need information on putting a turbo in my D16 ex please"
I never said i didnt know i need a fuel management system. And yes I've done research since last springs and its not just about boosting civics, but the history of civic, types of turbos superchargers, went to shops and asked about opinions on boosting civics. Now i live in an area were not to many people have boosted civics. I didnt have any one to support me for my goals. I'm not hear to argue with anyone or start anything. I just said i was confused of information i was given before becuase someone how it change from the last information i was given in turbod16 and i came here to ask for soom insight on homemadeturbo. Thats all.

3. Down pipe
4. some type of fuel management such as the afc which is made from Apexi its like 290 bones and some DSM 450cc injecters and a resister box.
5. Intercooler $250 shipped @ johnnyracecar.com
6. charge pipes (intercooler pipes)
7. Blow off valve

i think thats about it, just hook it up and bam!!! , oh and you'll probably need a new clutch sooner or later
