The chip is in the right way because my friend chips and tunes cars for a living, so thats out of the question. The CEL was on before the turbo because of the IAC and maybe the O2 not being connected. I personally can't burn chips or anything of that nature and it is a Crome Pro program. The guy that he originally burned the chip for is happy and problem free as well as other ebay customers that he sold to. I just searched limp mode and I seriously think the car is in limp mode. But what I don't get is that I've driven cars with bad or no O2s connected. Sure the CEL went on but the car ran fine. I know a bad IAC can't make the car go limp mode because it's been broken for over a month now it just makes the car use more gas and the idle goes up and down. I should still get boost in limp mode right?

EDIT:

When I researched limp mode, all definitions involve a rev and speed limit. I can go as fast as I want until I hit 4000 in fifth. Would the car even run with a bad chip installed? I also have dsm 450s with a resistor box wired in, could this do something?

What does a tune have to do with the car reading vacuum and no boost? I can understand a tune will fix it from running like crap. The car is at the body shop right now, got rear ended, so is there anything I can do there before I bring it to my friend? Tests? I want to spray WD40 on my Fuel Injector seals to check for leaks there being thats only place I haven't checked for leaks but is there anything else? Dyno time is expensive.

This is my third personal chip from my tuner and NONE have ever gone bad. As for pictures; My plumbing is done with irigation hose, I found it behind my shed. LOL. It fits like a glove too, Driven over it and it doesn't crush. I will however contact my tuner and try to get the codes read.

Dude go change your IACV, mine aswell clean your entire TB out inlcuding the FITV, also change your o2 or something, diasable it. Then get a tune. ALSO maybe a bad gauge! Also possible blocked intercooler, or bov with a massive leak.

what are you using for an air filter? i had the same problem when i tried to use a makeshift filter on my ----. i smashed filter element between 2 pieces of metal screen, and when i drove i couldn't make boost, and felt slower than n/a. it was restricting the flow.
took it off and it worked fine, thats when i said "fuckit" and havent run a filter since

limp mode ftw i just had the same thing a couple days ago becuase of a code 4 it wouldnt rev hight then 3,000rpm then i fixed the problem and now cel is gone and enigine runs normal. jump the blue plug by ecu (2 wires) and then turn the ignition to on position but dont start and the cel will blink out your codes. then fix them.
