Default Need help with exhaust

I'm planning on boosting my car but it prob won't be for a while so I can gather parts and stuff. I know that I want to get the RS*R Exmag exhaust system now because my current exhaust is just getting loud and annoying to me. I could buy this exhaust in 2.5" or 3" piping (for turbo). If I go ahead and buy the 3" one now would it be ok until I got around to boosting? Or would it be ok if I got the 2.5" one and then boosted with that one on, would it make that much of a difference? Please help.

motor & goals? either one is fine if you arent running a lot of boost, but if you are then go with the 3, and stay away from the rsr, those are shitty exhaust setups, if you have the money go with something from thermal, if you dont then go with something from the local exhaust shop, and a magnaflow......

I have a D16Y8 and I'm planning on a T3 .42/.48 turbo setup on stock internals. I'm shooting for around 200HP, would I need a 3" or would 2.5" do?

im pretty sure with that setup you would be cool with 2.5, just dont spend it on an rsr, its not a very good exhaust for how expensive it is...i believe its listed around $600+ for most applications, you can get a much better exhaust for that much
