Default need help deciding... 14b or t-25 for my junkyard d series.....

pretty much straight foward .. i want to put together a junkyard turbo for my 1.5l now .... possibly going to a sohc vtec in a little while ....

i cant decide a 14b and a t25---- pretty much from what i understand it pretty much depends on how much power i want to push ..

i dont plan to run anymore than 10 pounds ... and im wondering if the 14b will pull alot harder than the 14b at 10psi....

i also know that the t25 will spool much faster which is cool too, which is why im having a hard time picking between the 2 ...

whick one is easier to work with

let me know what you guys all think ...

thanks in advance
Joe

The 14b turbo is pretty good for making power and its pretty easy to work with but the t25 is slightly easier since it has a round compressor outlet thingy(idk how to explain it).Remenber the 14b might take slightly longer to make power but its well worth the wait and good things come to those who wait.

i have run both

the t25 spooled a lot quicker but fell on its face up high, where the 14b seems to hold 9 psi strong all the way to 7800.

i am making 200 at the wheels with a d15/y8 mini-me and a 14b... so the 14b gets my vote.

Between those 2 turbos I would go with the 14b. I haven't been in a car with a T25, but my buddy has a 14b setup and it pulls pretty well considering his fuel management right now. Properly tuned I think it will rip good. After he took a ride in my car he was wishing he had my t3 60 trim turbo though.

It would probably be easiest to search honda-tech.com for posts started by me if you want info on my car.
