Re: name the wierd turbo
Don't forget in the US we get the bare bones selection of honda's so there's a boat load of ---- we don't get or have never heard of here. Honda's have made a couple of diesel cars I believe and turbo's and diesels go hand in hand if there used in smaller cars.

With a 0.48 a/r comrpessor, It looks like a very standard T25.
Therefore, it should be good for no more than 200 HP efficiently.
If it's a VNT however, it's gonna spool even quicker than a ball bearing. VNT is a superb technology IMO. Too bad that they offer it only on small factory turbos. Maybe in a twin trubo setup however, the outcome could be impressive.
Oil inlet and outlet are on the same flange? Not a big problem but certainly a few extra hours of custom fabrication.

The A/R on the compressor side is 0.53 but i couldn't read what was written on the other side something with a 3 again bu it was messy and it didn' write a/r next to it i'm not looking for huge power my engine is 1.4liter but i want the turbo to be a common one so that when there is a problem with it, it could be fixed easily... i'm starting to think i should go with a t3 although its more money but not sure yet

SOrry! I thought I saw 0.48 on that compressor.
MAybe the 0.53 a/r compressor is good for some more power Too bad the flow charts for T25 turbos are almost impossible to find!
if you car is a 90 BHP d14z2, I would certainly give this turbo a try. you' can't really go wrong.
