Default Name That Turbo!!! (Compressor Edition)

I bought this to turn my T3 into a T3/T4 hybrid and garn (seller) said it was a T04E 40 trim. Others said it was a T04B. Looking online I thought it was a T04B 54 trim because the rest of the turbo was a 1.00 slip fit turbine housing. However, I have not definite answer and can't find any information.

.60 A/R
AiResearch
T04? (E or B)
Serial No. T62429
Part No. 465300-9001
Inducer - 45mm
Exducer - 70mm

Here are the pictures:

Thanks guys!!! Need more pictures of the turbo let me know.

i've seen pretty similar turbo like this. it was a T04B, ppl told me that it would not spoolup on a Honda. u need to put in V6 in a honda if u want to spoolit :P

The comp wheel is worthless. It is smaller than a T04B S trim.

Think of the wheel as being able to flow similiar to a common T3 0.48/0.42 but will spool faster because of the larger exducer. Those low trim wheels are meant to support hgih pressure ratios, but with low flow. Ie meant for diesel engines.

Your best bet would be to buy a larger wheel and have the housing machined to fit the new wheel. You might try BLAAST and see how much he would charge for that.

Good luck.

Thanks, doing that formula thing the trim is like 41.X. I don't never heard of it. The inducer is kind of small for a T4.

I can ask the seller and then let you know.

P.S. it looks like hotrex welded the oultet pipe onto the compressor housing.

Ha, it's to show length. Jeez, oh and the outlet is offset but flush and smooth inside. Haha, but I agree it looks flush for a Hotsex weld.

This is the best site I could find for looking up information. Based on the rest of the turbo I thought it was the 4th one down from the top.

Why are people retarded? Measure the inducer and exducer then go on www.majesticturbo.com and match up your measurements to the wheel. It isn't rocket science.
