you mean obd(whatever came nexted obd2c or obd3, who knows what is called) they 96-00 y8/ex mani is nice for the d series 01+ are shitty.

yeh..the plastic mani isn't the best thing in the world.
I've only seen one made for my car and the result on it were not worth the 500 bucks it cost. There has got to be a way to convert an older horizontal one in replacement to the vertical ones.

just hack up a another d series aluminum one(if same bolt pattern) and custom make soemtthing with mandrel bends

That would be the plan cause I think my friend has one lying around his garage. But I think I would need a welder at some point.
( I guess I could have got one instead of picking up this CF hood for 200 bucks ...always wanted one and couldnt pass up the deal at the moment)

hey is hte D17 turbo placement same as any other D seires ? i know the head is diffrent * headflange* however the turbo plaement is pretty much the same right ?

yeh
it's the same. A little tighter on the exhaust side because of P/S, AC compressor and Alternator
Took my compressor off thou
