How the heck did you fix the spike, I can't stop these little IHIs from spiking, my latest one I got the wastegate port bored out and ported, and running an adjustable 4-6 psi actuator I'm still hitting 12 psi!

I used to have a VJ11, it didn't spike as bad as my t-bird/isuzu hybrid, so maybe the actuator is better on those....

are you running the stock o2 housing? I made a flange out of mild steel and the wastegate flapper was hitting the flange so thats why I spiked. I grooved out the area that the flapper was hitting and it was fixed.

 

I wish that was my prob, my wastegate has lot's of room to open. I had to make flanges and DPs for both IHI turbos, the first one I had to fix an interference problem, this one I got right the first time

All it need's is some kind of a heat sheild so ppl cant see the turbo. Then you can tell them they just got there *** handed to them by a stock N/A 1.5.

 

i think the DSM bov will leave a hint that its not a N/A 1.5. clean setup, i like it. i wish my ---- was runnin, there's this little 91 si hatch rollin around thinkin hes hot ---- cause he's running a stock d16 with a t25. soon i will be the hot ----

 

not running torque mounts? (front tranny, a/c bracket)

 

thats how i broke the bolts in the driver side mounts.
