If you're running stock injectors and don't plan to upgrade, then why did you wire in the 10watt 10ohm resistors?

A map sensor doesn't compensate for increased air flow at all. it runs fuel maps configured for about 13.5 at wot for the engine stock. You have to burn more fuel to make power. It's funny how this is supposedly making any power The motor is already fucked! Whats the point of even putting a turbo on if your just going to blow it up? For less than $50 and maybe 10 min. you could install an FMU or FPR. 200k w/ an fmu would have probably last anohter 40k.

goin' on fourth week. Not running stock injectors which I think are 190 cc?? I am currently using 245 or 250 cc injectors which is making me run rich. I also have 450's but never got around to installing it.

Your not running rich............

It's funny, because if you got fuel management you would gain like 30-40HP.

I doubt it. AFRs don't have that much to do with power, unless he's falling flat on his face in boost.

This is a VX, ever seen one up close?

Why build a kit just to blow the engine and possibly damage your snail? You should just keep the shortblock and toss on atleast and any 1.6 head or even a b7 head and ditch that shitty vtec-e ecu.

I'll be doing the same thing but with a IHI RHB5/z6 trans I shold be done by the end of the week, Props to you for doing something that YOU think is fun. My kit total is near $140 lol it was a last minuete projects because we got a welder. I had parts left over so I said "why not" the d15z1 is going out in the summer anyways.
I dont get why everyone has their panties in a bunch ... its just a damn z1 with maybe less than 200 dollars in parts for a fun midrange/hill climbing daily driver. Its not like hes going to keep the motor forever...
