Hey TurboHF, how far apart did you gap your spark plug wires? Are you running stock spark plug wires or did you upgrade them?

 

nice setup man, my turboxs rfl can easily be heard over my open downpipe with a t3/t4 at anywhere from 5-12psi, at 12 psi that bov screams!

hopefully I will have a turbo b18c1 in my car (or at least in my garage) by summertime.

 

umm, you mean the plugs or the wires?!?! the wires are stock '01 LS wires. if you mean the plugs they are BCRP5E11/1273'S (stock V-Powers) @ .044gap i pulled them on my lunch today (after a nice 1-2-3 pull) and they looked fine. i have some "7's" that i might be putting in but i am not seeing a reason to, i will throw some 6's (5632?) in when i raise my boost up some and drop the gap to at least .032

wtf, who made that picture? lol. Is it for people who think they're d16a6 is the ---- or something. Trust me, I dont think it is...if I had money I wouldn't even have a 4 cylinder. I was just asking for a comparison...never rode in a turbo LS. Rode in LS hatches and they're very disapointing

 

LS's are disappointing my turbo LS...will far from disappointing just needs some tunning and my boost controler (getting it tomarrow)...

i painted the downpipe with 1200deg engine paint, ---- burned off in a day...

 

ummmmmmmm.... disapppointing? my ls pulled just as hard if not a little harder than my b16, maybe not as much on top end, but a very strong engine.....
