its 3:00AM and my car is running/turbo'ed [to my neighbors delite :-X ] kinda finished you say? well it doesnt have an exhaust haha it just ends at about the back of the oil pan. no real complications except that apearently the oil feed line off the back of the block wasnt completely tight, oops good thing i was checking for that. also it makes a LOUD whistleing noise when spooling up?!?!?! im thinking my BOV is sticking open a nut hair and is letting air by? or i have a leak somewhere else. anyway its 330am im going to sleep...

DAMN YOU TURBOHF!!! That is the setup i want in my crx!! B18 with bad ass fuel management, some tranny goodies like clutch and ----, than a Big Super 60 T3 or a T3/T4!!! Ofcourse i like it.....I'm JEALOUS!!! :P

another washer same story, but after i put in the first one or two it built boost faster. i have two other ideas one [dare i say?] my turbo is ------ gay, and two running an open exhaust/downpipe is letting me hear more of those sweet turbo noises :) speaking of which the RFL aint that ------ loud (still louder than the DSM)...

no i dont have any extra T3's for sale sorry. they come off turbo Ford 2.3L motors (SVO, tbird, Merkur) 84-87 i think, the newer ones use IHI turbos. manaul tranny cars have a .63 exhaust autos have a .48....

A1 tranny from the 91 Integra GS that Onyx drives ;)

no a YS1 is from a 92-93 tranny, im 98% sure its a "A1" tranny...maybe i will start off with a pic of the sticker on the tranny ::)

btw where is my TurboXS boost controler? i will be needing it whenever it stops raining...

also before anyone asks how fast it feels, its ------ pooring down rain, ---- there is 'standing water' over the roads and its probly flooding in the lower areas (i dont watch the news, '...i hate that ------ show.')

I was running 3 washers in mine at around 10 psi. It's not that loud? It must not be working right? ??? Mine was louder than anything in the world. It sounded like my tire was blowing everytime I shifted.

yes i did drive my car to work today, and i will tomarrow too...

Jeff, funny thing about that wideband, i want one too so i had an extra bung welded into my downpipe...but didnt have it mocked up on the motor so the bung faces right towards the tranny, with about an inch between the bung and tranny :-X anyway yes i would like very much for you to test it on my car (i just need to move the bung now).

i have 2-3 washers in mine. yes it is loud, kinda hard to hear it over the open exhaust hahaha
also i am only at 6psi (i think anyway, thats what the WG is set at) i would boost higher but my boost controler is
'missing'...

Beautiful! Did you smash your hood to fit an EG radiator too? I wouldn't mind pics of what the lower mounts for it look like....I have mine just laying on the draincock...damn thing better not break :o

When it dries up I wanna hear a comparison between this and your a6 turbo :)

Hey TurboHF, how far apart did you gap your spark plug wires? Are you running stock spark plug wires or did you upgrade them?

nice setup man, my turboxs rfl can easily be heard over my open downpipe with a t3/t4 at anywhere from 5-12psi, at 12 psi that bov screams!

hopefully I will have a turbo b18c1 in my car (or at least in my garage) by summertime.

umm, you mean the plugs or the wires?!?! the wires are stock '01 LS wires. if you mean the plugs they are BCRP5E11/1273'S (stock V-Powers) @ .044gap i pulled them on my lunch today (after a nice 1-2-3 pull) and they looked fine. i have some "7's" that i might be putting in but i am not seeing a reason to, i will throw some 6's (5632?) in when i raise my boost up some and drop the gap to at least .032

LS's are disappointing :-\ my turbo LS...will far from disappointing ;D just needs some tunning and my boost controler (getting it tomarrow)...

i painted the downpipe with 1200deg engine paint, ---- burned off in a day...

ummmmmmmm.... disapppointing? my ls pulled just as hard if not a little harder than my b16, maybe not as much on top end, but a very strong engine.....
