I'd say go with the hack and DSM 450cc injectors and your set up will be better off. Don't forget guages and oil feed/drain.

Setup looks ok........with the fmu I'd run 5-6 lbs and with a vafc i'd run 10-11 lbs of boost.

well im still looking for a turbo i thought that the t25 would be good for a small motor but if i could get a t3 around the same price as the t25 then ill go with that??? but thanks so far for all the input

Re:my soon to be turbo set up?

If you were planning on getting the T25 out of a car at the junkyard just look for a car that would have a T3 (Chrysler's?). If not I'm sure there is an abundance of them on ebay...but thats always hit or miss because you can't check the shaft play before you buy.

Good luck

Any of the old 80's 2.2 Turbo dodges used some form of a T3. But just note they have a goofy flange, not a standerd T3.

running the hack is ghetto as a motha unless you want to blow up your motor. Get it tuned and that t25 will work fine for you, it spools up quicker than the t25.

southpole, do you have a turbo car? I have run the hack for almost 6 months and haven't had one problem. Stock D16Z6 making about 210 hp at 10 psi. I am getting my spare P28 chipped for Uberdata but I wouldn't put the hack down so badly.

The hack has been proven time and time again as decent fuel management, it just has its limitations.

Also, if you can get a bigger turbo, always go for the biger turbo

Thats because you are using the hack correctly pushing it to the stock map sensor's limits thus allowing for the most desirable ignition timing. knock your dizzy back 4-6* and its relatively safe. I bet your mpgs are pretty iffy though.
