My Setup...Done!!!!(Update)
Its Alive!!!!! started up first time w/ no problems!! i love boost! 7psi sure does feel good in a crx with a T3!!!! its at full boost i'd say by 3800 but thats just fine with me! once boost hits, especially in 2nd and 3rd, its just pulls!! i still havent retarted my dizzy but i cant hear any pinging also. should i just retard it a degree or two just to be safe? i was thinking so. tomorrow will be more test driving i sure need to get a camera or a scanner to show you guys pics!
OK, i was just getting excited and i had to let you guys in on my progress. I just started the install of my HMT kit in my 91 CRX Si about 2 days ago. I'm just about done all i have to do is double check my piping to make sure the clamps all around are tight, connect the oil return line, put my colder plugs, retard my dizzy timing and set my skunk2 cam gear back to stock. thats about it! i should be starting it up this weekend. here's what i got...
D16a6 motor(stock)
ACT heavy duty clutch and plate
T3 42/48 51 trim internal w.g. 6-7psi
STD manifold w/ adapter plate
turbo xs bov
starion fmic
turbo xs mbc
piping is 2" before ic / 2.5" to t.b.
12:1 Fmu (gonna upgrade to chipped ecu w/ 450's or afc hack)
Autometer Boost and Air/Fuel guages
NGK BCPR7ES-11 colder plugs
Pro 1 Top Speed lightweight crank pulley
Skunk2 cam gear (set at stock for turbo but i might mess with it to see if i get improvments)
When its done i'm gonna go get a 2.75-3" downpipe made. I dont have a camera so i cant show you guys my progress. flame me if needed if anyone knows of a way i can get pics to post on here that would be great. Hey Kyle! if you read this maybe we can meet up so you can host the pics for me? let me know

HAHA yeah i know Dr. but i just couldnt resist letting you guys in on the progress!! I want to thank HMT for all the great knowledge and help you guys have given!! I need pics badly!! i really want to show you guys!!! Without this ***** i ndont know if i wouldve been able to tackle this situation! i didnt even know i had this much mechanic skills! the funny thing is, I've never even put on headers before! just intake, springs, and thats about it. I just catch on very quickly i guess! i'm so excited!!! imma go drive the beast right now, i'll be back

ok, so its been runnning for a few days now and everytime it gets started up when it hasnt been driven its smokes for about 5-10 minutes. its white smoke and i dont got the downpipe made yet also. i can see a bit of oil coming out the exhasut portion of the turbo been then clears up when the smoke clears. also my bov is fluttering but i cant seem to figure out how to adjust it? does it use an allen wrench where the vacuum source goes cuz one doesnt fit? the top on the bov un-screws but i havent really tooken it off since its been on. i will have to check that cuz i can tell the bov needs adjustments. i havent retarded the dizzy yet but i cant hear any pinging...but i'm still going to retard it 1-2 degrees to be safe. can any one give me some more pointers? let me know
