ur not supposed to have a breather filter on a catch can
pvc -> catchcan -> pre turbo intake
thats it

pre turbo intake so the suction can act as the stock setup
block off ur intake manifold nipple or use it to supply ur bov/wastegate

 

from what ive heard its not good to let your valve cover vent like that. but thats just what ive heard

 

all the catch can I see have breather on top

I run mine: a hose from the oil separator to a T fitting, a hose from the valve cover breather to the same T fitting. A hose from T fitting goes to catch can. From catch can a hose runs to the intake arm (pre-turbo).

dont mean to thread gankl, but what would be better. a breather filter on the valve cover, or a line ran from the valve cover to the pre turbo intake?

have a breather, its not good for a turbo car to be sucking in the pcv gasses while under boost, it severly lowers the octane rating of the air/fuel charge
