My new ride pics!!! and dyno pics!!!

yep at 7:30 pm central time the BmC Racing beast is alive. i will put some pictures on here tomarrow to show yall the full setup. but till then i will just tell you everything that is in it.

1993 Honda Civic Ex Coupe (lightended up 400lbs)

b18c1 engine

custom equal length manifold me and my dad

skunk2 intake manifold

custom cold ram air intake for the turbo

custom garrett bar and plate intercooler core dimensions 26 in long 10 in tall 3 in thick

uberdata powering 450cc injectors

cluthmasters stage 5 clutch and act 8.8lbs flywheel going in next week

stealthmodes awsome oil line kit

down2turbo (ebay seller) garrett t3 t4 sizes are exhaust: 48ar stage 3 wheel, compressor:57 trim compressor wheel and 50ar intake housing (going to be upgraded to 60 or 70 ar intake housing soon)

tial wastegate set at 9 lbs of boost

and all the misc crap. i cant wait for some track times, the butt dyno is estimating 300-350 whp and all i got to say is this thing wants to fly. in 2nd gear if you are going 3000rpm and just stomp on it, at 4000-5000rpm the car literly raises up 1-2 inches and just takes off as if it had F16 Fighting Falcon engine in it.

Wow, sounds awesome! Who did the Uberdata tuning for you? Yourself? Sounds like it's running awesome considering you havn't dyno'd it yet. Can't wait for the Pics. :)

Re:It's Alive Again!

of caurse i did my own uberdata programming, i have been messing with uberdata since the day it came out and i am pretty surei have what it takes to tune it on a dyno for real once i get my clutch, flywheel, and 300$ together for a 3 hour long dyno tuning session.

good job James...(and Sam)I will have to swing by and check it out...so im guessing the welding was good on the intercooler...

Re:It's Alive Again!

the welding on the intercooler was not done by me and the welds are not what is called pretty, they are however functional and that is what counts. for 40$ to completely reweld the endtanks i think they are plenty good.

man o man i need to get my new clutch in there, it slips so bad at 3rd gear, if you are doing 2000rpm and flore it, once 4500-5500 comes in and you get full boost, the rpms just shoot up to 8200 as if you were in nuetral with a 6lbs flywheel. although this could have been the tires spinning because it smelt like burnt rubber. i am running 9 lbs of boost and butt dyno says mid to high 300s(without nitrous). next weekend if all goes well i will be installing my new clutch and flywheel and hopefully week after i will go to the track.

Nice!...but am I the only one running the breather line from the valve cover to the intake side of the compressor?Wont it harm your engine in the long run to just run a breather filter?

Hi, this is Sam....next time you are at a car show with all the older motors (pre-smog) check out thier crankcase ventilation...[Atmosphere] and even many newer cars have a filter inside the filter box for the ventilation. I will admit that you may be a tad more legal in CA. Actually I ran into a Pro-Stock recently using a vacuum pump to pull a vacuum in the crankcase. I ask about it and was told it was good for a few extra ponies.

BTW...James did most of this work himself...THAT'S MY BOY!!!...now next time he takes on an SVT Cobra at the track, I'll bet money he will lead him after the 1/8 mile. And shame on the GT that he lead the whole track and finished first by about 5 lengths...it wouldn't even be funny now. You go boy!

-Sam
