eh, i doubt it will be a big deal. i will only be runnin 7psi, and i will watch the boost guage alot at first and if it creeps, ill just stay pretty much out of boost untill i get a new wastegate. it'll be pretty easy to stay out of boost on a 60/63.

....I don't get why people say that they are only running X amount of boost, so it won't creep. I'm still new to this turbo thing...but doesn't a wastegate have to work harder for a smaller amount of boost?

if a decently sized turbo was usedand the wastegate is set for 6 psi then it seems like it would be open pretty much the whole time.

*edit* btw that's a nice looking log

wastegate is like a switch
it doesnt work anything
its a pipe that open and closes

i worded it wrong......at higher power levels the wastegate will have a harder time diverting the exhause from the turbine if the wastegate is set at a lower PSI

^ looked like the same exact thing without the elbow for the external wastegate.

and the reason running a low psi is more safe for me, is if it DOES creep, then it wont be as big a deal. if i run 12 psi and it creeps, im done.

and yes it will be on a D, and VERY easy to stay out of boost.
