Is that the same engine that came in the 323 GTX Mazda cars??

 

Yea it is the CWS car. Nice car but still has the festy trans,it was one of the earlie cars swapped and ran pretty good. BTW my name is Chris and thats my POS,but I love it.
Went for a few small drives today and it felt good just really need alighned. Going get it alighned and exhaust put on it tomorow and try to run down a short. I am felling like second and third I am having clutch slip but after looking at the DR and light marks its just spinning bad. It is only on 9psi now and going to turn it up to @16psi. No 9's planned for it but wanting a 11.9x pass just to get there. and yes the motor is the same as the 323gt ones. Will keep everyone posted on the progress.

sho_tyme is the owner guys ask him he will fill you in on the info on the car it is a fast little car only on 9psi and it spins possy .

 

It is down some. Was way down and chewed outsides tire up. But when your rocking 205/50/15 dragradials on a car desighned for 155/12's you kinda limited. Plus we have rough backroads, when I get beck to indy I will sit it down a little more.

Whats his name on the board I have seen the saab DD in his profile dont rememeber who it is though. Alot people on the board are doing swaps,big,small,sohc,dohc and a few customs. I may be able to help him some on the wiring,its 8 wires I think.

 

did you use the 88-89 mazda ecu and harness or the later 90-94 capri turbo harness and ecu?

 

I bought a whole 91xr2 car. Went out driving it today and having all kinds of problems,It wont go in a strait line,plus its getting spike. Hope to lower it down a little and see if that helps. Maybe I can get T57b18 to post a short vid of it.
