Re: my HMT setup....1991 civic hatch
looks good. how does it run?
|
Re: my HMT setup....1991 civic hatch
car is running great. pulls pretty good for what it is. im running a basemap from xenocron's bin directory. i think its time for a real clutch. when i bang 3rd the rpm's the clutch disagrees.
im currently running 8psi. |

Re: my HMT setup....1991 civic hatch
Must feel like an SC'd d16 with shitty exhaust. When does the turbo spool by, 2200?
BTW I like the sticker on the windshield. But where's the vtec you claim? ;) |
Re: my HMT setup....1991 civic hatch
sticker doesnt claim vtec. it says REVTEC motorsports.
|
Re: my HMT setup....1991 civic hatch
and why do you say it should feel like a scd16 with shitty exhaust?
|
Re: my HMT setup....1991 civic hatch
chlorophyll...more like boreaphyll.
|
Re: my HMT setup....1991 civic hatch
update 2-12-07 well the tranny fell off the car today. haha well not literally. but basically. the hole housing around the diff is on the ground. planitary gear is on the ground. and the speedo sensor rolled out under the car. along with 2quarts of fluid... haha i love burnouts. but they cost. i wil have pics tomoorow will i pull this sob out |
Re: my HMT setup....1991 civic hatch
where are you from in ohio?
|
Re: my HMT setup....1991 civic hatch
What I meant by 'SC w/shitty exhaust' was: almost instant boost, but with a restrictive exhaust. SC'd cars are basicly NA setups past the head (low restriction), while a small turbo creates lots of restriction. Believe me, it was meant as a compliment :D
Too bad about the tranny. Si trannies are hard to come by around here, at least with the synchros intact. You could probably part it out to some of the tranny guys and help pay for a different tranny. I know I'd be up for 2nd and 3rd if they didn't grind ;) |
Re: my HMT setup....1991 civic hatch
i loved this tranny. it was mint. 118k. not a grind what so ever. i got a 5sp dx that will be going in today

Re: my HMT setup....1991 civic hatch
someone media-blasted that cyl head. Hope they cleaned it till they thought it was 100% clean and then cleaned it twice more. That stuff gets everywhere, and it's hard to remove.
Anyway, the new setup should be awesome. What turbo will you be using with that block? |
Re: my HMT setup....1991 civic hatch
im using a evo 16g... hopefully getting a t3 or something soon
|

Re: my HMT setup....1991 civic hatch
how much power can i make with this turbo? i want 300.
man i want to drive this thing. this is my daily. and it has been apart for 2 weeks. i hate bumming rides to work and school |
Re: my HMT setup....1991 civic hatch
Regular plain jane 16g? I think even the small ones are good to 300.
|
Re: my HMT setup....1991 civic hatch
if i can get 300 hp with this i would be so happy. i love the fact i am using my downpipe and same manifold i had on my t25.
im still working on makin my charge pipe from turbo to the ic. its ridiculous bends. i may have to throw in a pie cut. |
Re: my HMT setup....1991 civic hatch
