Default My Ghetto Fab Turbo DB2 Build

Long time reader/lurker, first time poster....err...sort of.

Anyhow decided to toss up this thread for my new build as slow as it may be, the build, not the car, well it shouldn't be slow when finished

Specs:
93 GS-R
B16 swap (previous owner blew the B17)
GS-R trans
PIC Apex Coil Overs

Here's a couple of pictures:

For anyone who may recognize the car, yea, I'm the guy with the S2000 cluster in my DA.

Goals:
250-300WHP tuned on 94 octane
Try and do the whole sha-bang for $1000 or just slightly over. I'll be hunting classifieds for the best deals.

Plans are to use a small to mid size t3 or t3/t4 turbo, log manifold (unless I find a tube on for cheap), external wastegate, decent sized intercooler and lots of used ---- to keep the costs down.

Enjoy and stay tuned.

I had sandles on.

Found a small 16G TD04HL for sale locally, would this be decent or should I hold out for a t3/t4?

That's not a 16g. It's a 13g. Some idiot is trying to sell it as a 16g because it has the dual finned G-series compressor wheel, but 16g is TD05H. The 13g has the same flanges as a 16g because it came off a 1G DSM with an automatic transmission. If it's TD04HL it's definitely a 13g. They made a TD04HL 16T, but it's not flanged like a 16g. That 13g also has a 5cm housing and the 16g has a 7cm housing.

Thanks.

I passed on it anyhow. Trying to find a cheap T3.
