I think you owned yourself with the "sleepy fish" thing. I mean theres nothing about a fish that describes speed, force, or good looks. Thats why cars aren't named after fish (jaguar,cougar, etc..). Except for the tiburon but thats kinda gay too. I guess its all about what you like ? I mean I'm not even planning on fixing my rust. I don't care what it looks like if its fast enough you won't be looking at it for long. DL

ok i officially hate most of the members on this site... and im taking my reasearch elsewear where people are more mature and let other people have their own opinions... but i'll try to wrap this up with one last comment...
1. my ugly *** blue honda was spray painted by a hardcore ricer ( red interior in all)
- i dericed it, upgraded the suspension, painted all the red ---- black again, pulled the motor and blacked the bay and it now sits in my driveway for sale in Grey/olive primer with one piece projectors that i picked up for 25 bucks...
2. my car is from fast and the furious...
- i dont have graphics...
- ok.. most people liked that movie (NOT the 2nd one)when it came out and the only reason you dont is because no one else does anymore... your probably a follower... thats why you drive a honda like 98% of the tuner world and cant expand to somthing that is mastered in less than a day.
- i would like to take my car to shows when its complete and i would like to see how popular it becomes...you go to car show, theres no way your winning a tuner show without a kit... i mean.. you guys must hate every import/sc show around!?
3. oh slam on the fish thing... i mean..god.. you got me?... i could sit here and make fun of somthing in the shape of a square ...but im alittle more mature than that.

-my buddy drives a ef, nice car, i like it, b16a its quick... ( not as fast as a stock probegt but im not gonna bash on it like you guys would), we hang out at local "lots" and car meets, and i would hafta say an average amount of girls like my car better... i mean.. its a girl dude... they like what they see, they all also like the kid driving around with a lambo doored yellow eg with 18" chrome giovannas ( not so cool). you think they called my car a probe, made it a hatch back with fold down rear seats with 6 ft off lying room for no reason..haha (with experience, its much easier than getting it done in my civic)
6. shoguns are proven to be ugly
- by honda guys... cause everyone other than tuners hate hondas with a passion and this is their way to retaliate, to hate everything that isnt their style (and the occasion s13 guy...but we'll disreagard that)
- shoguns are popular because they are the best looking kit on the market... the other 7 or so kits look ugly as ----, ugly, or not as good... its popular because it looks good outside of this little honda world you guys have going, not because it was one of the first ones...
7. they stoped making probes for a reason
-yea.. cause 95' mustangs came out... and sadly, rednecks outnumber tuners.
-i'd rather them go out on a good note then come out with an 06' model that looks like ----... not pointing in any direction or anything..
- well i cant remember anything else anyone said, and im not looking it up cause its kind of a waste... the point is... we can argue all day about boykits or stockbody... and its about as pointless as "which is better, muscel or tuner" (which was a debate in an english assignment i had and won... tuner side that is)
i like forums where people can do what they want and not be bashed on for a bumper... or a wing... a nice site that not centered around honda guys that have no style.

That's why people are shoving sticks up your *** and lighting them on fire. It's not that I don't like the last gen probes, or the name, its the drivers I tend to disagree with. Most think their cars are hot and fast - stock. The Honda owners that think the same way are Ricers, the followers you speak of. And I've not seen one that looks good with any body mods, they just don't have the lines that agree with fiberglass, IMO. Mpt that all Honda's do either, but 'consumption in moderation' is what the msot people can agree on. A lip here, a JDM part there, a turbo under the hood, and it's all good. For Ford, subsitute JDM for SVO.
Back on topic, a basic AF meter reads 14:1 to 15:1 roughly, and it's agreed upon that even 13:1 is too lean for safe boosting. Lean on a narrowband guage is leaner than NA people want to be running, let alone turbo. If nothing else, have him do a compression test weekly, let him watch the downward sprial.
And FYI, HMT isn't a repository for idiots, nor is it the braintrust of the internet. I will say that it's less infiltrated by morons than other forums are by now. Thanks to MSN and DELL, any d-bag can cruise the net.
