itīs a Honda civic MA8. made in the Uk for the european market made from 95 to 96. in 97 they changed the front bumper and lights and the model code for them is MB1-7. the MA models came whit the 1.4=66kw, 1.5 vtec-e=66kw and the 1.6-vtec=92kw engines. the MB models came whit the 1.4=66kw, 1.5-vtec-e=115hp and the b18c4=1.8-vtec=169hp....

so now i have driven this setup for a 1000km and i must say that it turned out realy good :D. no problem what so ever whit this setup.
its my daily drive so i use it every day. the little 1.4 D14a2 pulls pretty good,

:(the bad thing is that my cars wheight is about 1300-1400kg and it would be better whit a lighter car :P

Re: My first HMT, on my "euro" civic

A new update on the car.
The turbo setup is still running 0.3 bar on stock engine whit no fuelmanagement :6. the d14a2 has been boosted for 4000km now, and i drive it daily.
the most recent modification is the missing link from synapse that i bought of ebay. so now i dont have to watch that ------- enginelight any more ;D

the next upgrade is to change the headgasket, headstuds, fuelpump. instal a progressive fuelpressureregulator.
mabye a vafc whit new injectors

good to see you around again.
if you get the vafc you won't need the missing link or fpr.

are those headlight nozzles?
