You can't tune anything till you know the REAL A/F ratios. Doesn't that P28 change your injector pulsewidth and ignition curves versus your stock ECU? be careful with ignition advance! good luck. BTW do you have the stock fuel pump? I have a 99 Y7 as you know with the new Greddy kit @10 psi and am wondering if I should replace my pump....I guess only way to know is to check fuel pressure near redline?

it's good! It kinda sounds like a single turbo supra..like it has two stages...up to 5 psi it barely whistles when it shoots to 10 it lets out a high pitch whine. it really screams on a 3rd gear 10psi pull. I had the old greddy kit back in the day and can say that the new one is better...how much i dunno. I know they upgraded the compressor wheel in a major way. It has 6 large fins with 6 smaller reversed fins compared to the older design where all fins are the same size and not reversed. I love the kit! just gotta get it tuned now.

Anything above 11psi on an AFC "hack" will throw a CEL/MIL on a MAP code and will surely place my ECU on a limp mode. My civic is also untuned on the VAFC "hack".

going above 11 psi wont necessarily throw a cel
Right. But I know mine will. I tried going pass 10 psi before on this set-up. It threw a code.....

what is up with this VTEC bashing, i have the DOHC B16A2 and the VTEC makes a huge difference in power, i dont have any numbers mind you, but you can feel VTEC kick in even with my turbo, just a little extra boost you can feel, VTEC sucks on those little ----- SOHC engines, my girlfriend has a 2002 ex civic and the VTEC on that is like nothing its sounds like the engine is getting real loud but no power, on my si its a different story, nothing too crazy but 160 HP out of a NA 1.6L engine is pretty impressive.

Anymore D series bashers, and weez gonna fite. Everybody knows that DOHC motors are like big trucks, the only people that have them are trying to hide thier small *****.

Move the VTEC point to 5200 for your teg, look at that gapping hole you have. Then turbo it

good luck with future runs man
That is because the two are on different scales. They aren't gonna match up. If they both started and ended at the same place, yes they should both cross at 5250.

This is retarded. Technically, no, peak horsepower isn't going to be any higher than if you just ran the high cam, a little lower in fact since you could do without the extra rotating mass and friction. But you'd lose low-mid power in exchange. In the end, you'd net less hp over the rev range, and the car wouldn't be as streetable to boot. A vtec equipped engine is capable of more hp than the same engine without vtec - especially with a radical grind. So what is your point? I'm not one to sing the praises of the holy V-TEK, but give the technology it's due. If it wasn't good, there wouldn't be so many variations on it in use by different manufacturers.

EDIT: you may be thinking of vtec-e. If so, get it straight. vtec-e is about economy. vtec is about power. AFAIK, nobody ever claimed vtec-e made cars fast!

Thermal, you live in VA Beach? I lived there about 6 months ago. Abacus is a ripoff cause they are in deep with Millenium. Bunch of tards that think they know it all. They wanted $600 to rewire my friends harness for his K20A to SR20DET swap. He got it done elsewhere for $75. But I know what you mean about there being nowhere else to go.
