ok first of all what year of car and what year of engine
cause that doesnt look anything like a 2.4 newer ecotsk motor that could use 3 lbs of boost and gain that much and by the way not puting you down or anything well you must have alot of money and time on your hand , 1 year to do all that i have had a year on my 94 civic and with just the engine swap and the turbo install it took me that long...

few things threshold... thats not an ecotec. its a 2.4L...also known as an ld9. its whats in a z24. ld9 was from 96-02. ecotec was from 02+. the ecotec motor is only a 2.2L and its been proven a few times that it still cannot make as much power as the ld9 with the same mods. it can suppost more power in the end, but it does get as large of gains off of the same mods. this motor is still more powerful. the ecotec wouldnt gain 50-55hp at the wheels off of 3lbs of boost. it doesnt look like the "2.4 newer ecotsk motor" because there is no such thing. they were 2.2L. also, if you know what a standard 2.4L looks like, then mine still wont quite look the same, i have a differnt intake manifold on mine now. for the time and money issue, actually, it took me about 3 months to do the turbo workin maybe a 2 or 3 days a week for about 2-3 hours a day with many small things holding me back and taking up time. i started buying parts one by one since the beginning of last summer. once i had them all, i started putting it on over this winter. the engine is the only thing i did this winter, its not like i did all the body work and all in that time as well.

Damn those are some pretty good numbers for a LD9 :o
Congrats.
BigJ he is probably smart having an auto for the LD9 the manuals sucked huge ass. I went through about 4 in about a year and a half and a buddy of mine went through 6 in about the same time, he just gave up and let the bank take the car back. I am now parting mine out :-\

stock horsepower rating is 150 to the crank with equal torque. most autos dyno 120 to the wheels while manuals may dyno 130-135.
