I will check the wastegate but how can I check to see if the boost guage is the prob?

Yeah the turbo spools but it doesn't boost.

 

Try using another boost gauge. But that shouldn't be the problem. They arn't bad from the factory too often.

I would think that the wastegate is stuck open. look into the eshaust side and see if it is sealed. Try to pull the WG arm, it should be pretty hard. 8psi is even pretty hard.

 

where is the boost gauge connected at

 

can you FEEL anyboost?.

 

nope. Can't feel nothing other than hearing the turbo spool.

 

It's gotta be the wastegate stuck open. Take your dp off and check out the flapper.

 

I'd say it's a charge pipe leak or a coupler has a hole in it.

I just checked my wastegate and it seems too simple to pull the wastegate rod. Do ou guys think it's to loose?
