my $175 Single cam turbo kit!
.42/.48 is refering to the ar of the housings. If you look at the inducer diameter of the compressor wheel it gives a clue about the trim. no step on the inside of the housing equals .50 trim.
i think you got a good deal if the turbo is in good shape and if not rebuild it and you still came out good plus you dont have to worry about dealing with the hassle of finding everything piece by piece saves a headache!!
that looks to me a .42/.48 off of a saab turbo. if you go to a junk yark like a pull-a-part find a saab turbo and get the stock downpipe it will serve you well for what you are working with. here is a pic. Good luck with the setup
---- yeah.
That's definately $175 worth of stuff. Especially if the turbo is in good shape.
Turbos go for $70 at our local upull it and the HF mani with adapter plate would be at least $80 or so. I also see an oil line with a block fitting (looks like stealthmode). etc etc... definately $175 worth of stuff.
I wouldn't put it on like it is though, spend a few more hundred and you will have a nice kit on your hands.
Nice find.
