So, if i remove the stock blaster pack and run the ss blaster coil, will i be ok with that? It will pretty much just be a more powerful spark and take the place of the current stock one, right?

Right. Just pull out your stock coil, take the two wires from it, extend the wires to the new coil and put on the proper cap.

I started out with just the cap and coil, later upgrade to a full msd ignition system, but cant really tell the difference.
