Default moving fan

i may need to move my ac fan to in front of the ac compressor. do you think this would work if i reverse the wiring on the fan so that it pushes from in front instead of pulls from behind?. need the extra space for the turbo and keeping ac.

Yup, it will work, my fan is mounted in front of my radiator, wired backwards.

tnx. i'm just too much of a pu##y to ditch ac. i got hella space between condenser/radiator and bumper. jeff, how did you attach your fans on the front? got any pics that might help me? can't wait to get this on and running.

Hey-- one question:

On the subject of putting the fan's up front...

In front of my radiator ('95 civic ex) there is this THING. It's like a tube, bent into a U shape... It almost looks like an oven heating element. WTF is it doing there, what is it, and how do I put fans there w/o it getting in the way / damaged etc. I know someone has seen it before. It's really weird.

Hi, old post I know, but none the less:
that big U shaped tube is apparently a power steering fluid cooler.
