Default Motor mount is ruining my turbo project!

Damn this sucks. Had everything ready to go, already got the injectors and the safc hooked up had the manifold off, and already had my eclipse manifold redrilled to fit my accord. Got everything ready but when it was time to drop the turbo in the ------- front mount was all in the way of where the turbo should be. It didnt look like it would be that in the way at first but when I actually tried to drop it in there was no way to get it to squeeze by. What do I do now? 93 accord by the way.

Are you talking about that wishbone mount (the real long one?) that sits in front of the engine?

Can you fab up a new solid mount or put the comp on the other side?

I was thinking maybe just poly fill the rest of your mounts, and disregaurd that front mount. I think you will still have 3/4 engine mounts. Dont the 93 accords have front cross members? When we swap out the D-series with B-series we only get to use 3/4 mounts, but they are polyuarthane mounts..

It is an option..

I just took the pics but I dont know how to post them. Anyway though, it comes up from the frame of the car and looks like this O--- except up and down, the circle is where it connectse to the engine. I'm pretty sure its a mount. Can I really just take it off? I'm all for it if I can as long as there are 3 more. If you can you can help me out with how to post pics so I can show the pic to you

Just send the pics to my email account, I will look them over..

jeff@homemadeturbo.com

or you can host them at imagestation.com

Ya, I am pretty certain you will still have 3/4 engine mounts, and If you got some poly urathane inserts you would probably be ok.
