HMT members are goin all out nowadays. 700+ hp, Wow. That 4" looks so tuff, kinda reminds me of a diesel truck.

hmm, thats funny, because i know of more then one setups locally making over 800 WHP on the a1000. Its just killer when you start getting above 80psi.

Very jealous. 750-800whp RWD...

So, I know you used to drive this car alot... are the plans to keep it as a weekend warrior now? Or are you going to do what I want and drive it all the time?

Being fully built and tuned it'll be a daily-able car. I have every intention of driving it on nice weather days! It doesn't have AC, so I may drive something else on warm days or wet days, but yeah this car is a street car

Hehe it will hopefully be somewhat tame with a magnaflow 4" muffler in the middle and maybe one in the back. I have a dilemma though - I was going to run 2 x 38mm wastegates, but it might prove to be a pain in the *** to plumb, so I might go to a single 44mm and tie it into the downpipe. So, I might have a genuine TiAL 38mm w/ 8,7 psi spring for sale if anyone is interested

nice, how did I missed this project?
you don't see this everyday on a bmw, nice parts man, good luck on the project.
what are planning to do about the head? they usually break rockers real easy.
