more gremlins, issues at 10psi.
a while back, wastegate flange broke off the turbo manifold, sent the wastegate for a ride. That was a journey in itself. Got a new tial .8 bar wastegate and developed a exhaust leak, installed the flange ring, fixed that, and here come the probs.
the car boosts a steady 10psi, but as soon as i start reaching the 8-10psi mark, the car starts to hesisitate and buck, quite violently i might add.
I dont have the greatest of management at the moment. I have the timing dialed back 3 degrees and have a JR adjustable FMU.
I played around with the FMU but couldnt seem to get the car to smooth out at the 10psi mark.
I do have chipped ecm on the way, but is there anything i can do in the mean time?
I have 440cc injectors waiting to go in along with a MSD 6BTM, but im pretty sure according to hondatech, that the stock ecm will not be able to control the flow of the 440's.
any help would be appreciated.

why did you even mention the wastegate problem from the past?
Anyways...you're either have a spark plug problem..like a plug that isn't firing. That will cause rough acceleration in an N/A car and even more erratically so while boosted. Check your plugs. If they check out fine then I bet it has something to do with that dialed back timing. The only time you should retard the timing is if you're running the AFC hack or you are experiencing pre-ignition during boost.

stargazer, i posted this topic on a local forum that i surf as well, hence the reason for the wastegate problem.
my apologies.
The plugs i have in the car are NGK copper core, that are 1 heat range colder.
I will check the gap tonight and check the overall condition of the plug.
Ill grab a new set of plugs as well and throw them in and see how it runs.
thx again guys.

I dont know much about FMU's but i am pretty sure the correct size disk would be 12:1,
As for controlling the 440's, use the chipped ECM, running a program called Uberdata.
Leaning out at 10psi would cause bucking.
BTW, you are a brave man to boost 10psi with a FMU!

brave? not really.
work with what ya got and go from there. I had the FMU lying around, so we threw it in.
waiting on the chppied PM6 to arrive so i can start tuning this thing.
