So what is the issue with them? You can make any turbo work as long as it's not chinese and you want it to last.

What the heck are you going to use those on. They appear to be a compound setup, looks like it might be the one off of a 6.4 powerstroke. I know they use a setup like that. If it is one of those, one is a VTG and one a standard turbo. O

Ok so its not a 6.4 powerstorke tureb, but its a similar compound setup.

Here are some pictures of the powerstroke setup and some cool turbo building pictures too.

I hope you understand how compound turbo's work. You really can't push them with a gas motor, A setup like that is capable of 80+ PSI

I did not realize they were compound till I posted here. I was just buying 2 for the price of 1, and hoping for the best. I will tear them down and see what I get.

It shouldn't be a problem to separate them. How well they are sized for something like that I don't know.

Compound turbos left in that config will suck on a gas engine, yes, but serperated they are like any other individual turbo (when not pair together, as they're different).

If it was from a compound setup, at least one turbo will de decent for a smaller engine. They use one small-ish and one large turbo and reuse the exhuast gas. One benifit is insane boost, the other is the small turbo spools faster. Diesels don't care about IAT's much, especially since diesels run cooler overall than gas engines.
