Hi, I edited my original post was due to having a few member respond as children. I really would like to get something out of this. I believe the turbo world did not make a new center section for the ball bearing. However I don't know this to be true. I'd like to know of the many difference or if there are that many differences in moding the center section. The number two post I've even e-mailed him attempting to fine out just what does it take to do the mods. Still no response, next Blaast shows the bearings but next stated the pitfalls. I even tried to disassemble a T-25 in order to see the oil passage. Some turbos have a parallel oil supply to the bearings (this the drilled holes on the outer bearing surfaces. If the oil supply is parallel, and does supply oil to the outer bearing (OD) surface; installing the type of bearing that will seal up the oil supply will cause a turbo failure.

You gotta remember this is HMT so take everything with a grain of salt. I was just gonna give a whirl as I'm buying another 15G and can experiment on the old 15G. Now if this is like some aftermarket snail then I don't know if I'd try it and really toast it. Any old stock oem snail I'd give it a whirl on. I wouldn't mind picking up a thunderchicken 63/60 and trying it out. Being when I do upgrade beyond my little 15G I'm gonna rock that 63/60 pump. O0

Are you ever going to answer what it takes to mod the center section?

Thanks for replying.
1. did it take maching the center section?
2. what type of thrust bearing?
3. so far, how's it holding up?
4. do you have any pictures of you turbo while in pieces
5. was is a DSM T-25
6. if it was a DSM T-25, I have a DSM T-25, and I have taken it apart. I have noted it has a bushing type bearing (as should be), but what I noted was the oil supply to the bushing/bearing had slots in them for oil supply. How did you address the oil supply to the bearings?
And again, thanks for your reply.
