finding the bearings is the biggest bitch, that's the reason you really don't find anything on this mod. it's like finding a flathead longblock NOS in crate, in the back of your choice of still in business ford dealership

There's no seal on either side and yes, it's similarly sized as a Abec7 inline skate bearing but guess what: it's not.
and it's unfortunately not as simple as throwing-in a hobby shop bearing. Otherwise, everybody would do it. :1
The shaft has to be machined down and the thrust system is different than the standard one. However, it uses a standard dynamic seal backplate.

Well that bearing does not look so special at all. I also don't believe they made bearings just for the turbo. I believe someone came up with the ideal of trying it.

Blaast just what type of thrust bearing are you meaning?

Hi, how did you get around the issues of the thrust as Blaast mentioned?

I'd really like to mod my twin T-25s before I upgrade for the T-28 compressors, so if you have done this process please share?

I think the bearings won't be hard to find. Presently I'm looking for the ceramics. However Blaast shared some info about other pitfalls. Just hoping to hear more on the pitfalls :-\

Hell my Mitsu 15G in my 850R is on it's last leg so I'm gonna give it a shot.

Hi, do you intend to just install the bearings only? Blaast point should be taken into consideration also. My T-25 nut is so tight it won't budge. I need to see just how the oil flows to each side of the turbo shaft.
