Mitsubishi td04 16T turbo
Hello im new here! 
i come from finland and building a turbo charged crx!
my question is if someone else is driving with a 16T turbo from mitsu? i heard they can deliver about 300 horse power?
i have 550cc rc-engineering injectors ssautochrome exhaust and intake manifold! Civinco engineering management system.
and ofcourse a brand new 16T turbo! and so on everything is new! but still waiting for my intercooler and bov and tial wastegate! what do you think of this setup?
should be interesting too see the startup when im finished but its still a way to go!

I don't know anyone running the TD04-16T, but there are many people on hear running the TD04L-13T ( US Wrx stock turbo ) and its a great turbo for a Sohc !!
I've hit 16psi with my 13T ( the clutch wouldn't hold it ), and I bet the 16T is even better.
I'd REALLY like to get ahold of a TD04-16T, but the only thing in the U.S. that came with them is some of the pretty new Volvos and they are not cheap hear at all...
300 crank HP should be about right with the 16T, but 300 wheel HP is gonna be pretty hard...
I think the U.S. spec volvo S60R comes with a TD04-19T !!!

im planing to run 25psi with my 16T! my boss has a volvo V70R with the same turbo and he runs 25psi with it no problem! i know! 25psi is alot of boost on such a small engine! but i will switch all stock rods and pistons to better ones! we also hae 19T and 18T turbos here! all come from the new volvo modells but as you said they are kinda expensive!

A TD04-16t or any other newer volvo turbo would cost us at least $1000 new, but I'd much rather have a Garrett GT-series turbo with custom wheels/housings/bearings for $1200..
But I don't know how much you guys pay for the swetish turbos over there...
BTW My friend loves the VW turbo "polo", but I bet you guys think they are ---- boxes, europe gets all the cool cars ( minus the WRX STi ).

As far as I know europre got the 270hp 2.0L Wrx Sti, while the U.S. of course got the 300hp 2.5L Sti..
Europe got a better Evo ( 300hp ).
This is just what I've seen on "5th gear" on the speed channel, its not like I'm a euro car expert or anything.
