Mitsu TE04H
I noticed that not very many people use this turbo so i was wondering why. Is it that its hard to work with or just some other reason. I'm able to pick one up at a very reasonable price and just need some feedback on it before i pick it up. This will be going on a d series and will only be seeing 6-8 psi's.Any help is appreciated.

Re:Mitsu TE04H
IS this the turbo found on 2.2 and 2.5 chrysler engines ? if so if think it would be alot like the t25. on a 1.6l d series for a street application it would be pretty nice.

Re:Mitsu TE04H
the only problem i had with mine was the compressor housing is a ---- to clock, so you either have to build your manifold around the fact that your charge air is aimed directly at the manifold/head or figure some way of re-mounting the wastegate canister when you clock the turbo.
plus they're ------- rediculously expensive to rebuild. |
Re:Mitsu TE04H
i think i'll pass on the te04h for something a little easier to use. Maybe a td04 off the wrx

Re:Mitsu TE04H
That turbo is verry small.Verry fast spool but runs out of steam up top.Would be nice for auto-x or something like that.

Re:Mitsu TE04H
the TE04H is not the 14b, people get them mixed up. that turbo is the size of my fist. i'd say it'd be good for a turbo geo metro project maybe a toyota tercel. but not honda
