im using just a silicon hose i believe. and it doesnt melt. but mine is internal gated but its right there next to the turbo and manifold. hasnt melted yet.

Steve you need to get some high temp hose. My suggestion to you is if u have ac lying around or ur creative... take that wrap off the hose from the radiator to the overfill unit.. that ---- can handle some real heat

Ok cool, thanks mike. I did that with my oil return line because it seemed kind of close to the downpipe. Actually yesterday I was at work and my brother felt like doing something so he used some steel brake line and bent me a steel line that goes from the wastegate to the compressor housing fitting. Works perfectly, looks better than a rubber line, and it doesn't melt on me anymore.
I think I'm going to do the same for my water lines to the turbo also because I've had no luck using rubber hose and hose clamps. They just loosen up and leak on me, so I'll have my bro bend up some water lines too .
