Re: this may be a moronic question
JD is right. Hydrogen burns really hot and it's flash point is very low so it is very dangerous and detonation would be a problem. You'd need to run very low compression to get away from detonation and that is why vehicles that run on hydrogen have less power and get lower fuel economy. You would need to run tooo low of compression on an internal combustion engine to be able to run a turbo on it. You wouldn't even be able to run the engine out of boost.
B100 ( 100%) Bio diesel is the way if you want to get away from producing sulfur emmissions, etc. It is very clean burning and nature can take care of everything besides the NOx which the Cat will take care of cleaning out. So all you would have coming out of your tail pipe would be CO2 which is what plants "breath". Bio diesel also can be created from our waste. In Montreal, QC Canada they are producing bio diesel using old diapers. All the cities will have to do is get people to start using their composters more, picking up the waste from them and producing bio diesel. This would divert waste from the landfills and create fuel from the garbage. It would reduce our dependance on fossil fuels. Also bio diesel has a very high flash point so it is very safe and is bio degradable.

Diesel is very dirty, and the HCs may eventually break down but they definitely aren't naturally occurring.
Dow Corning only came out with a cat for diesels in the last two years, they aren't very fluent and I bet they cost s fuckton.

I do agree about the hydrocarbons but you can't really get away from that but bio diesel is MUCH cleaner then petro diesel. This is something that we can do NOW and use in just a regular diesel engine. Here are a couple websites that have some info about bio diesel.

302 Cleveland
You mean 351 correct
Besides the displacement difference theres JUST a bit of difference in how well the heads flow... Even the 2Bbl Cleveland heads dramatically out flow the windsor heads let alone the 302 heads (that have ex ports the size of a quarter).... The 4 Bbl heads are ginormous....

it's about 2 more years before the fuel system tested and installed so it's not going to be anything different from a normal petrol engine till then engine mods won't start till then
all I was lookin for was an answer like... yes ya can / no ya cant, turbocharge an engine that runs on gas
yes ya can .... then cool I'll blow some extra dosh
no ya cant ...cool I'll find something else to spend my money on like this for example http://www.junkyardjet.com/
