Default Map sensor f.a.q

Searched past threads but didn't have any luck ... setup is a soon to be boosted d16z6 and im wanting to know the direct relation of the map sensor to the t/b, besides the obvious ie: commonly known problems when running stock map (i think the stock is good up to like 11) recommended replacements and how to properly account for the new map i was told its not as simple as plug and play......

i know this should prob be in engine management but its more or less about the relation between the sensor and BOOST so stfu..(please? )****
