Searched past threads but didn't have any luck >:( ... setup is a soon to be boosted d16z6 and im wanting to know the direct relation of the map sensor to the t/b, besides the obvious ie: commonly known problems when running stock map (i think the stock is good up to like 11) recommended replacements and how to properly account for the new map i was told its not as simple as plug and play......

i know this should prob be in engine management but its more or less about the relation between the sensor and BOOST so stfu..(please? :'()****

You are a ------- moron. Gain some actual knowledge instead of spewing all of your misinformation.

Stock MAP works fine on boost, up to 10 psi.

WTF was I thinking????? For some reason I was thinking he was talking about a stock MAP on a P28, my bad OP.

right... so what happens when overboosting stock map anyone had this happen b4? lean out or something

Exactly; you'll lean out. It will keep reading the fuel values from the highest column in your map (which is usually around 10.5 psi or so) as you keep increasing your boost. Some people make their last column richer to account for this and allow them to boost a bit higher than that, but not much.

well that will do fine on boost also. Not sure what you are thinking then.
