look the ball and spring type are cool but if youre in a hurry goto lowes and find the tool section look for there air fittings and find a air pressure regulator , it has a locking tab with it so you cant screw with the boost or accedentally hit it for inside the car they should only run about 14 dollars,,,

those don't work for ----; i've tried it on two different vehicles. Unless you want to have it completely closed. :P

I made one from following this guys instructions.

The hardest thing to do is get the really small hole drilled properly.

Why would you trust something so vital so such a cheap and unreliable part? Just go with a hallman pro controller, or ebc if you got the flow.

If you are referring to the link I posted...I wouldnt call it cheap...inexpensive maybe. This design has been around for years and been used by some of the more boost-knowledgeable guys.

I see my guage max at 8psi and slowly creep to 7...no fluctuation what so ever...

Oh no, that design looked good. But many boost controllers sold out on ebay and such are people doing just that, making their own. As the saying goes "get what u pay for", I'm a fan of spending a little bit more on the boost controller, going to be buyin a hallman pro soon.
