how is it that using a manual boost controller you will make your turbo spool faster? also will it make it spool faster if you are using external wastegate?

 

The faster spool is becuase the boost controller holds the WG closed longer instead of when it usually opens at 1psi. With an electronic boost controller you can adjust the gain which is how fast the wastegate opens. Too much gain and it'll spike
