Manual boost controller ?
Hey guys I have searched and I can't find anything related to this. I have a manual boost controller on a turbo with an interal wastegate. It will boost up to 10psi sometimes, but then it comes back down to normal boost at like 7psi. Can you use a manually boost controller with a interally gated turbo. Any help would be great and if you want to yell at me then just go look at porn and jerk off O0

Re: Manual boost controller ?
Is it boosting from 7psi to 10psi progressively as you go through the gears? Could be boost creep. If not i would check for leaks in your vacuum lines. :-\

Re: Manual boost controller ?
when I take off it will boost up to 10psi and then it will come back down to 6-7psi which the turbo is wastegated for. And I have a manual boost controler on there. I know its not a very good one, but I figured that it would work for now. I was wondering if the boost controler is junk. Or if it won't over ride the internal wastegate at all.

Re: Manual boost controller ?
Yeah thats what it is doing. But to get back to the orginal question. Can a boost controller be used with a internally gated turbo. I was uncertain if it would be able to override the internal wastegate.

Re: Manual boost controller ?
its called a sticky w/g arm or possibly a bad bov, but a ct26 should be able to hold atleast 10 psi to red line, try'n up in to 12 for fun and report back
