Default Manual boost controller ?

Hey guys I have searched and I can't find anything related to this. I have a manual boost controller on a turbo with an interal wastegate. It will boost up to 10psi sometimes, but then it comes back down to normal boost at like 7psi. Can you use a manually boost controller with a interally gated turbo. Any help would be great and if you want to yell at me then just go look at **** and jerk off

Is it boosting from 7psi to 10psi progressively as you go through the gears? Could be boost creep. If not i would check for leaks in your vacuum lines.

when I take off it will boost up to 10psi and then it will come back down to 6-7psi which the turbo is wastegated for. And I have a manual boost controler on there. I know its not a very good one, but I figured that it would work for now. I was wondering if the boost controler is junk. Or if it won't over ride the internal wastegate at all.

Yeah thats what it is doing. But to get back to the orginal question. Can a boost controller be used with a internally gated turbo. I was uncertain if it would be able to override the internal wastegate.
