manual boost contoler not working
i posted a few days ago about my wastgate on my new set up only letting me boost to about 3 pounds, so i ordered a manual boost controler and know the boost keeps going up, the directions told me to splice into the blow off valve vacume line and then the other vavum line to the actualtor, i have followed all the directions to get it to work ive ajusted it to the highest and lowest setting and it just does the same thing, i was thinking mabie the vacume line from my blow off valve isint sending the right pressure. know there is a nipple on the turbo that the vacum line used to be hooked too(went from the nipple to the actualor) do you think i could use that vacum sorce instead of the blow off valve sorce. or mabie my boost contrler just sucks
its a egay one that i bought for really cheap.

Re:manual boost contoler not working
You should use the nipple on the turbo compressor for the wastegate actuator. Then splice that line to your MBC. It sounds like your waste gate isn't closing all the way from the begining. Like the flapper is cracked or you clocked the turbo and didn't set the wastegate actuator in the correct position.

Re:manual boost contoler not working
its not hooked uo backwards i double checked that, i just tried
tapping it into a deferent vacum line on my intake manifold and tried getting it as close to the manifold as posible and its still over boosting, in order for me to use the vacume line on the turbo i would have to take out my manifold and turbo because of were the nipple on the turbo is located it cant be reached while in the engine bay. im beging to think my actuator
is broken or somthing.
