Manifold with Turbo

From looking at the pics, is it ac friendly or the wastegate actuator will have to be taken off or moved? If the wastegate actuator have to be removed, is there anyway to relocate it where it would still function correctly? As you can see, i will have to reclock the center section because right now the return hole is up on top and the inlet hole is on the bottom. Anyone have pics of relocating their wastegate actuator where it will be ac friendly? Thanks

its going on a 94 civic hb with a d16 motor. Is there anyway i can relocate the wastegate actuator? Right now an external wastegate is going to cost me around 150, which i can use towards my tuning

It might work if you can mount the AC fan on the opposite side..., but from the looks of it... making the downpipe will suck ass

it might work if you flipped the turbo around as in have the hot side facing the passenger side instead

Swapping the turbo around wont work, if you get a smaller internal wastegate actuator like a t25 and modify it to fit you should have no problem. All t3 actuators are ------- way to big. Me personally I'd go external and just dump it right into your downpipe.

thats a saab t3 right? if i were you id do what abaz said, get an external wastegate, it will save you a lot of room in there and then just dump it right into your downpipe.

yea that is form a saab , i am going modify and cut the bracket and move the wastegate actuator up more or i will go pick up a ihb wastegate actuator. another reason why i want to keep the internal wastegate is that i heard that it is very reliable when you are only boosting at 8psi

Re:Manifold with Turbo

just relocate the wastegate acuator. there is a lot of room on top of the compressor housing. you might have to use a 90 degree fitting for the oil inlet. you'll have a better idea when you mount it in the car. good luck.
