Re: Manifold Identification
Can we get back to the manifold though? Any thought on me building my own?
I was thinking since its an intake I can just use steel exhaust tubing as the runners
and then pick a shape for the main part where the TB goes (ahh the plenum thats what its called)
square= use plate steel
Round= existing gas pressuarized container (Empty of course)
I.E. small fire bottle.
And hey maybe you guys should up my rating a little for bringing such a great picture?

Re: Manifold Identification
Maybe I'm not reading your post right, but are you trying to make a honda intake manifold fit on a Nissan?
The picture of the manifold that is shown, appears to look like a dsm intake manifold, the square ports look very similar to a 4g6* design.
If you are trying to make that manifold fit another car your wasteing your time, the ports are small and then plenum is shaped goofy. Almost all forigen intake manifolds are made out of aluminum, so I wouldnt suggest using steel piping.
Have Arron make you something like my old ZC intake manifold.. basically just get a extra intake manifold, send it to him.. have him chop it and weld on runners, build a plenum and figure out what kinda throttle body your gonna use. The other stuff like fuel rail mounting/throttle cable and ports are very easy to do yourself.
and if your wife wants to be off the front page I can do it if she requests.
